I Love Stephen King

Stephen King is one of the most amazing authors of our time. After his first novel, Carrie, was published, Stephen King went on to be one of the most renowned authors of our time, publishing books, movies, short stories, tv miniseries and much more.

I have been a Stephen King fan since I picked up one of his books at the age of 9. I couldn't put it down. I read and reread all of his books numerous times and enjoy them more every time. I've always like them because he doesn't always have the predictable "Good Guys Always Win" thing going on. Sometimes the good guy turns horribly evil and murders the entire town.

I could sit here all day making suggestions of books to read, but I almost don't know where to start because there are so many great ones. I know what you're saying, "I'm just not sure I like Stephen King. I've seen some of his movies and didn't really like them." Well, here are a few suggestions, if you're not entirely into the horror genre. Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption, which is a short story in the book Different Seasons is an amazing story and not many people know that it was written by Stephen King. The Green Mile is also another wonderful book.

As for you horror fans out there. Pet Semetery will make you want to sleep with the lights on for the next few weeks. It is the reason that I'm afraid of clowns at the age of 26.

Well, I guess that I've said what I can. No matter what kind of book fan you are, Stephen King has something for you. Horror, romance, life and death, good versus evil, love and loss.
